Location
San Francisco is one of the most spectacular cities in the U.S., thanks to the panoramic views of the bay that you can get from its high hills. The city is easily explorable by foot or by cable car and, although it is a cosmopolitan destination it offers a more slowly lifestyle than other large U.S. cities. Some neighborhoods are famous for being the setting for many films and television series and among its main attractions are the Golden Gate Bridge ' or the popular neighborhoods of ' Fisherman 'sWharf 'and ' Chinatown'. On the other end of the famous red bridge is the region of 'Marin County', a charming area with small towns, mountains and parks.
The camp
The San Francisco camp is located on the estate of the San Francisco State University (SFSU), founded in 1800, so its architecture combines old elements, along with others from the 60's and some more modern. The site offers students the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of a real American college.
Classrooms, dining and social spaces are a large complex conveniently centralized to facilitate students' lives. To access the city center students can take the tram that passes frequently at the college and it takes about 20 to 30 minutes, depending on destination. The bus stop is only 10 minutes walk from the residential area.
The classrooms are modern and fully equipped and meals are taken in the campus cafeteria, located just minutes from the classrooms and accommodation.

- Sheets and towels: linen provided and changed weekly, towels are not included (students must bring their own towels).
- Cleaning: The common areas are cleaned every day, the rooms once a week.
- Security: CCTV in several areas of the camp + 24 hours security guard.
- Internet: Wi-Fi available on campus and residence.

- Laundry: Available on campus, works with coins. Students must buy their own detergent.
- Deposit: Students are requested to deposit $ 40 or 40 €, which will be returned on the last day, as long as there has been no damage to the facility.
Courses
Classes have a duration of 15 hours per week (20 lessons of 45 minutes). Lessons are held from Monday to Friday in the mornings, between 9:00 and 12:30 pm, or in the afternoons, between 13:30 and 17:00 h.
All teachers are fully qualified teachers and the courses are focused on improving fluency in both spoken and written language, vocabulary building and refreshing grammar concepts.
The first day of class students will take a level test, and depending on the result, they will be put into the class that best matches their skills. At the end of the course students receive a certificate and a report on its progress.
Generally, the average class size is around 15 students, although this number may vary slightly depending on the circumstances.
